SCA needed an easily deliverable message that would help differentiate the company's total offering from that of competitors.

A great feature of the client's UK business is the emphasis they place on new materials and design development. With continual environmental, cost and convenience challenges facing the industry, SCA Packaging's UK development team has come up with a number of innovative and imaginative solutions over many years.

To support the need for clear differentiation, the proposal was to create a series of campaign activities under the single strapline.

'Thinking beyond the box'

The line won immediate accord with the client's ambitions and is seen to be so appropriate to the company's activities that is now a prominent feature of the vehicle fleet and a common sight on Britain's motorways.

The message is developed through all advertising and promotional material developed for SCA in Britain. The 'thinking' theme is even extended to advertisements celebrating success at the Packaging Industry's annual awards ceremony, where our client picked up more awards for design and innovation than any other UK manufacturer.
